The champion’s response was defiant: “How dare you be mad at me for hosting the biggest indie wrestling event in Ocean County in years. And you all got to be a part of it. But I’m the bad guy.” The resentment he argued, was rooted in jealousy of his success, his leadership, and his ability to seize the moment when others faltered.
Stepping Up When Others Step Down
The drama began when Pete Corvis who failed to show up leaving a crucial spot open from the Brewery Brawl, Duhop who had previously retired, saw an opportunity and took it, unretiring on the spot to fill the void.
“I snuck right in. I said, ‘Well, I’m unretired. Let me take the match.’” This move, while necessary for the show to go on, only fueled the narrative that he was “putting himself over” at the expense of others.
But as he pointed out, someone had to step up. “If Red Dad had kept the views up, he’d still have the belt. But guess what? He nosed this plane into the goddamn ground. He almost costed all of you the platform.” In his eyes, taking back the belt and leading the show was an act of salvation, not selfishness.
A Wild Concept Comes to Life
If the opening drama wasn’t enough, the night’s centerpiece was a battle royale unlike any other one gorilla versus 100 GTS wrestlers. The rules were simple to eliminate the gorilla over the top rope to earn a shot at the United States Championship. If the gorilla won there would be no contender and the champion would get the month off. The anticipation was palpable.
“There will be a gorilla here soon,” the Grim promised and when the beast finally entered the ring, chaos ensued. Wrestler after wrestler tried and failed to take down the gorilla.
The eliminations came fast and furious, with the gorilla tossing competitors out with ease. The spectacle was equal parts comedy and carnage with commentary oscillating between awe and mockery.
“He’s the size of a Sasquatch himself. About as tall as the monkey,” they joked as one particularly large competitor stepped up, only to be swiftly eliminated.
The match was a showcase of the unpredictable, over-the-top entertainment that defines GTS. From surprise alliances to betrayals and near-misses, the ring was a revolving door of hopefuls, each trying to seize their moment.
The Chini's Seize the Day
In the end, it was the Chini's Iced T and Tony who managed to eliminate the gorilla, earning a shot at the United States Championship. Their victory was not just a personal triumph, but a continuation of a long-running feud with the current US Champion, Adam Bizarre.
“The US Championship is actually the only championship at Brewery Brawl in our match that wasn’t on the line. That might be because Adam is scared,” the commentary speculated, stoking the flames for future confrontations.
Fresh off their battle royale victory, The Chini's wasted no time in seeking more gold. With the crowd still buzzing, they challenged Adam’s Family Killa K and Isaac Scythe for the tag team championships. The champions, perhaps overconfident or simply eager to prove themselves, accepted the challenge on the spot. The tag team match was a high-octane affair, with both teams pushing themselves to the limit. The Chini's, riding the momentum of their earlier win, fought valiantly, but Adam’s Family proved to be formidable opponents.
The action was relentless, with near-falls, dramatic saves, and moments of sheer chaos. At one point, the commentary captured the intensity:
“This is a great tag match, you guys. Tag time. And they kick out.” The match swung back and forth, with both teams coming within a hair’s breadth of victory.
Betrayal and Fallout
But as is often the case in wrestling, the real drama came after the final bell. Internal strife within Adam’s Family boiled over, with Isaac Scythe quitting the group in a fit of rage. “Your ego costing us the title. I was going to counter that like I countered it before. Sorry, dude. No.” The family, once united, was now fractured, with members turning on each other in the aftermath of defeat.
The fallout was immediate and brutal. Killa K was assaulted by his own teammates and left battered and betrayed in the ring.
“I’m trimming the fat, getting rid of weaknesses. We will be stronger. Just because our numbers are few doesn’t mean anything. Time for retraining. Time to refocus. Understood?” The message was clear loyalty was no longer a given, and only the strong would survive.
The Burden of Being the Bad Guy
With the tag team chaos still fresh and the attention turned back to Grim who is ever the showman issued a challenge to his absent rival, Jeff Noyze.

“Where are you? You’re not here. You’re not coming through the curtain. You’re that booger right there. And I just picked you and squished you. And I’ll do the same if your big bloated ass decides to waddle into my yard.” The match itself was a showcase of the champion’s dominance, dispatching his opponent with a combination of power moves and taunts.
“How about we go not only in obese mode, but main character mode,” he quipped, reveling in his role as both villain and hero.
Despite his success, the champion couldn’t escape the perception that he was the villain.
“I always have to be the bad guy. I got to be the bad guy. And now I got to be this [expletive] green bean. This jolly green jerk wall.” It was a moment of self-awareness and acknowledging the fine line between confidence and arrogance, leadership and self-promotion.
But as the night proved, being the bad guy often means being the one willing to do what others won’t stepping up, taking risks, and bearing the brunt of criticism when things go wrong.
The Rise and Fall of Adam’s Family
Perhaps the most compelling storyline of the night was the unraveling of Adam’s Family. Once a dominant force, the group was now beset by infighting, betrayals, and a crisis of leadership. Members were kicked out, others quit, and the remaining loyalists were left to pick up the pieces. The family’s leader, Adam Bizarre who tried to rally the troops: “I’m trimming the fat and getting rid of weaknesses. We will be stronger.”

But the damage was done and the group’s future was uncertain. Yet, in wrestling, every fall sets the stage for a comeback. The Chini's, now number one contenders for the US Championship, promised to expose Adam’s Family as a “facade.” The champion, undeterred, vowed to continue his reign and prove the doubters wrong.
“Who rise to the occasion? Who took their self out of that grave that Brim put me in? Who gave me gimmicks that everyone thought would fail? Look at me now. Undefeated. Mongus reigning for a reason.”
The message was clear in GTS nothing is permanent. Champions fall, families fracture, and new stars rise from the ashes. The only constant is change and the relentless pursuit of greatness.
Community, Chaos, and Character
What sets GTS apart from mainstream wrestling promotions is its raw, unfiltered energy. The lines between hero and villain are blurred, the action is unpredictable, and the stakes feel personal. Every match, every promo, every betrayal is a testament to the passion and creativity of the performers and the community that supports them. The night’s events were a perfect encapsulation of this spirit. From the absurdity of a gorilla battle royale to the emotional fallout of a family torn apart, GTS delivered a show that was equal parts spectacle and soap opera.

As the dust settles, the future of GTS is as uncertain as ever. Will the Chini's dethrone Adam Bizarre and claim the US Championship? Can Adam’s Family recover from their internal strife? Will the reigning YouTube Champion continue his dominant run, or will a new challenger emerge to take him down? The next chapter promises to be just as wild, unpredictable, and entertaining as the last.
In the end, the greatest GTS event in history was more than just a night of wrestling it was a celebration of everything that makes the sport great. Passion, rivalry, loyalty, betrayal, and the unyielding drive to be the best. Whether you cheered, booed, or simply watched in awe, you were part of something special.
Tony said, “If you don’t bring that fire to our next match, you’re going to go right back in that grave.” In GTS the fire never goes out it just burns brighter with every twist, every turn, and every unforgettable moment.
Stay tuned, like and subscribe, get ready for the next round. The story is far from over.
